Day 25: 28 Day Happiness Challenge

Read a book you’ve been wanting to read but just haven’t.  Or if you’re not a reader, go to your local library and pick up a book on disc, listen to it in your car, or at home in your free time.  It doesn’t have to be educational but if that is what you like go for it.  Pick out something fun and interesting to you. I happen to read a lot of non-fiction spiritual or health based books.  Once in a while it is nice to read or listen to a good fantasy, sci-fi or mystery type book.  On the other hand, if you read a lot of fiction, you may want to choose something different.  You can do this by yourself, with your kids or family, you could even set up a mini book club with your favorite people to hang out with, just for another good excuse to get together. My husband, daughters and I like to pick out a good series of books to listen to as we travel. I recommend the Hunger Games if you have older children and any of Rick Riordan’s books for those with younger kids. Even if you’re just reading or listening to books by yourself, give those books a try.  If you’re looking to do a book group with your friends, Jodi Picoult and Fredrik Backman have some great books.

Love, Peace and Gratitude
